does Buying Lyft gift card from bestbuy triggers my chase offer? I thought I could only use directly to lyft to trigger it.
It triggered the chase offer last time I purchased the Lyft gift cards with Chase Sapphire Reserve card. However, it didn’t give 10X bonus on CSR card. It only gave 1X per $1 spent. If you ride with Lyft and pay with CSR, it gives 10X bonus. So it’s better to get 10X bonus than 10% discount. I believe it’s 5X on Chase Freedom Flex/Unlimited cards.

Unable to purchase on multiple accounts, they’re citing quantity reasons but 1 gift card won’t even go through
Lyft is coding gift cards as a promo so if you have a $5 promo, you’re still forced to choose the $5 and your credit card. I’m pretty sure this is an unlawful and deceptive practice. Gift cards should not be treated as a promo on Lyft’s platform but as a payment choice. Anyone experiencing the same thing?

What is a practical consequence of this?
I had a similar experience with Tommy Bahama. Used a promotional code and it wouldn’t let me use a gift card for the balance- stating only one promotional code per order. Had to pay with my CC.
