Dosh App Shutting Down

The Dosh cashback rewards app will be shutting down on February 28, 2025. Available cashback can still be cashed out.

DearDoshers, We hope your holiday season was filled with joy, festive memories, and of course, a lot of savvy shopping with cash back offers! As we step into 2025, we wanted to share an update with you. After much thought and consideration, we have made the decision to sunset the Dosh app. As we prepare to wind down, we wanted to thank our millions of users who have supported us throughout the years. It’s been an exciting adventure, and we hope you were able to earn some cash back along the way. Before the app is discontinued, here’s what you need to know: Timing: The Dosh app will officially sunset on February 28, 2025 with the last day to make a qualifying transaction on January 16, 2025. Withdrawal Reminder: We’ve lowered the withdrawal limit to $0.01, allowing you to retrieve any remaining balance from your Dosh account until February 23 2025. Please note that any remaining cash back balances after this date will be forfeited. Updated Terms: We have updated our Terms of Service to reflect the app closure, which can be viewed here.

What about notifying their “loyal” customers via email? They had our emails. I guess loyalty only goes one way😑. Thieves!!

They did not notify anyone they were shutting down. They are lying. I had no notice at all. I lost whatever money I had accumulated. I’m glad they shut down – clearly they didn’t care about their customers. Don’t give them credit for something they didn’t do.

Just noticed that I got hit with the maintenance fee which sucks but I had less than $3 in my account for years, so whatever. Wish they had sent out an email or something.

Feel lucky I didn’t get hit with maintenance fees like others. I had $14 and change sitting there for about seven months that I could finally transfer out.

I cashed about $200 over the lifetime of the app no issues was able to double and triple dip cashback with other apps at restaurants with T-Mobile dinning and Get Upside and Dosh helped out many of times. I never really remembered getting any maintenance fees but might have happened I dunno. Will be missed for me. Man another cashback app that I enjoyed that is going away over the years…

Cashed out just over $500 over 3+ yrs. The OD days were amazing. I was shut down for that but they reactivated after I said I would stop & still earned a coupla hundred after til now. This was an easy, good app, too bad

RIP. It was a good app back before the Covid-19 pandemic. I remember the $5 offer for each Staples transaction over $200 – perfect for the $200 Visa/Mastercard gift cards 🙂

Had almost $250 from over the years – no issues cashing out. Linked Venmo using phone number (has to match what’s on the Dosh profile) and got instant confirmation. Will report back if there are any delays with the funds showing up in Venmo..

Had $0.65 in there from a random transaction a while back. Surprised they didn’t take it back with a maintenance fee

Same here (had around $4 after withdrawing a while back), reading the other comments it sounds like people were charged maintenance fees..interesting.

I never got charged a maintenance fee, but I wasn’t dormant for more than 6 months, and always cashed out when I reached the minimum.
