Our Verdict
You need a prime account to have Prime Pantry, if you don’t have one then read this post. I find Prime Pantry is usually overpriced when compared to competitors, but as always do your own price comparisons to see how it stacks up. I think it probably does make sense when you’re able to get $10 off $40 + free shipping + freebies (kind of similar to Google Express really only being worth it during 20% off or similar). Expect to see more deals in the lead up to Prime Day.
I was able to use this offer on two different accounts which are part of the same Prime Family membership. I had to sign up for Prime Pantry on my wife’s account because she is the primary prime member, but I was able to use the coupon on each account once.
Thanks, Will! We used your example of stacks on stacks in the post, <$10 before tax.
The code PANTRY doesn’t seem to be working.
Contact chat and they will apply manually, odd it isn’t working properly.
OK…..worth a shot.
I’m currently stacking this w/ the AMEX promo on my acct. It only saved the $7.99 shipping. I just signed up the S/O wth Prime free and linked up a BBP (AU w/ their name) but didn’t see anything concerning the AMEX promo except for this.
Not sure if it’s possible to stack that with this.
so what happens if you already did the 30 day trial and cancelled before they charged fee. Can one do it again
You’ll have to be the DP on that, I’m guessing it won’t work
It worked for me. I had a 30-day trial two years ago and a few months ago when I logged in to Amazon app, I got another 30-day trial. Now I’m using the 6-month trial for students without a .edu email address. I guess it’s because I usually use the pickup location on campus.
