American Airlines has announced changes to its baggage allowance policy.
- All premium economy tickets will now include two free checked bags regardless of route (previously Alaska or Hawaii only included one free bag)
- Long-haul international main cabin tickets will include one free checked bag (previously flights to Asia or Oceania included two checked bags)
- There will be a new fare class called Basic Economy Plus Bag that includes one free checked bag in Asia/Oceania
