Update 7/14/21: The Equinox benefits of $25 on Platinum and $10 on Blue Cash Preferred were extended past June 30, 2021. Seems they are now a permanent annual benefit on the card.

American Express has added a new credit for Variis by Equinox, this offers on demand classes (Equinox, SoulCycle, Precision Run & more). Normally the cost is $39.99 per month but the following credits will apply for eligible and existing cardholders:
- Platinum cardholders will receive $25 back each month. Valid until June 30, 2021
- Blue Cash Preferred cardholders will receive $10 back each month. Valid until June 30, 2021
- Other eligible cardholders will receive $10 back each month for the first three months. Valid through April 1, 2021
American Express cardholders will be notified in the coming weeks if they are eligible for this new benefit and also provide instructions on how to enroll. Readers were complaining about this benefit when it was rumored to be free, so I can’t see many people signing up given it’s a benefit of 40% off or worse.

I wish Equinox would add a reduced tier of Variis that costs exactly $25/month where you don't actually gain access to any classes just so that Amex can go fuck themselves.

I miss the original post on this, but is this related to the Plat $25/month Equinox credit or is this a separate credit? I don't see where it's listed as a separate benefit though? TIA
