American Express has sent out an survey via e-mail asking respondents to rate different benefits and versions of a card. At the start the annual fee ranges are $105 – $195 (current card is $125 annual fee) and then at the end it asks if there are any benefits that would get you to consider a $600 annual fee.
Normally these types of surveys don’t amount to much, although it is a good indication that changes are being at least considered. I’d be surprised if we see a premium Marriott business card with a $600 annual fee, although with the successful relaunch of the Platinum cards it’s always possible.
