Amtrak has added a new 10% discount for U.S. active duty military & U.S. Veterans. Vets need to select Military Veteran as their traveler type when booking and active duty need to select ‘Military’. Discount only applies to regular full adult coach rail fares and proof is required (unclear what proof is required). Given how often we see discounts for more than 10% it’s unclear how useful this discount will actually be, but I guess at times when no bigger discount is offered this will be useful.
