The Opportunity Cost of Being a Miles and Points Blogger by Miles For Family. MFF is closing up shop, I think it’s worth reading her reasons as to why – especially if you’re thinking about getting into this blogging game. I’ve almost thrown in the towel several times – especially after a few vicious attacks. I’m sure I won’t do this forever as it’s quite a draining hobby but for now I’m still enjoying myself and trying to focus on the positives. As always, if you like a blogger support them (and I’m not talking about this site, I’m talking about any site you get value from).
Is Indonesia really adding to their Visa-free list or not? by Tagging Miles. Looks like this is not going ahead. A little tip: bring US currency to pay your Visa fee. If you use Indonesian Rupiah the rate you receive is absolutely awful.
I consider your blog the best out there for my purposes. Thank you.

Thank you as I SINCERELY appreciate your blog and ideas.
You cover MANY different areas with specific, ACTIONABLE, advice (plans) that are sorely lacking in many (most?) blogs I’ve read.
If you want, go to a ‘subscription’ monthly model ($5 a month?) which might make things better for all. Count me in if you go this way!

William, once you’ve read blogs for a while you learn how to redeem awards, etc., but one the click-bait has worn exhaustion you realize that the only way to truly excel in the game is to read a select few blogs that actually do brain work in researching articles. My friend, yours is the absolute best when it comes to financial/credit card matters. And thanks for the heads up on in-branch Citi offers…amazing how none of the Titan bloggers can figure that one out 🙂

Your note about the vicious attacks and momentary temptations to throw in the towel reminded me to reach out and say I really like reading your stuff – I’ve learned a bit and been entertained. I don’t typically comment “good post” or something similar – I prefer to have something to contribute – but every once in awhile I try to remember to thank the bloggers I enjoy.
