- Best buy is selling 12 months of Pandora Plus Music for $29.99
Our Verdict
Keep in mind this will auto renew at $54.89 per year. There are occasional offers for $9.99 back when you spend $9.99 on Pandora, none currently available and wouldn’t stack with this offer as it’s through Best Buy anyway but might be worth considering for those that don’t want the 12 month commitment.
This ended up being a waste of time and money for me. Long story short, instead of getting a gift code like in the past, you get an activation link that has Pandora reach out to your Best Buy account to upgrade a Pandora Free account to Pandora Plus (or Premium in the case of today’s deal). So if you already have Plus you have to wait for your subscription to expire before you can activate this subscription.
Plus discount appears to have ended yesterday but now BB is showing a similar deal on a Premium subscription:

This also successfully triggered my Amex Plat $50 BB offer.
I’m set on free Pandora Premium for the next 2 yrs using 3 mo trial codes I acquired through a churned deal awhile back. The only slight pain is having to create a new acct and set up all my stations every 3 months, but that takes minutes vs having to pay $100/yr. Honestly I would never pay for the service. Many of their stations are too limited in scope with music from a few handfulls of artists being repeated.
dead already, dang
good for my needs. thanks doc!
Is there some kind of moneymaker/churning angle to this?
it’s just half off of what someone would normally pay for the plus subscription
