Update 8/6/21: Points posting now for more people (maybe for everyone now?). I got it now as well, woot!
Update 7/30/21: Points now posting for more people.
Update 6/26/21: Points are now posting from this promotion.
Update 4/28/21: This promotion has expired. For those who already did it, payout is expected in mid-May, according to a report.
Update 4/27/21: I just got around to doing it. It was a painless 7 minute phone call with Paypal. The rep was very familiar with the Brex process and bonus. They do ask for your website and what your payment processing needs and estimates are. The rep told me that Paypal sends Brex the list of users who signed up. Make sure your Paypal business account uses the same email as your Brex account. Also worth having your Brex bank account added to your Paypal business account.
I clicked through the direct link below and filled out the form (not sure if this step is really necessary), then immediately called 855- 787-4321 and selected option 2, then chose the call-back option and got a call back within a few minutes. I told the rep that I want to set up a merchant account with online invoicing as the only payment method (this has no fees), and that I’m setting it up as part of the Brex integration (ht VFTW). Then I was prompted by the agent to do a test invoice and payment (invoiced $1 to my personal Paypal and paid it to my business as an invoice payment) which promptly showed up in Paypal. I then withdrew my Paypal balance to my Brex account (not sure if this is necessary). The rep confirmed he’ll add me to the list that goes to Brex as those who signed up for the promo. Hopefully the 100,000 bonus shows up without a hitch.
Update: Initially we had written that you need to pay the $30 monthly fee, but readers say you can signup for a no-monthly-fee option and get the bonus as well.

The Offer

- Brex business account holders can get a bonus of 100,000 Brex points (worth at least $1,000) when signing up for PayPal Merchant Processing and payment processing begins.
PayPal merchant processing costs $30 per month + processing fees.
Our Verdict
This will likely only work for a business that has payment processing needs. It’s possible that you can describe even a small amount of processing need and they’ll accept you.
I’ve never done any payment processing deals before, please let us know your thoughts and if it’s worth it in the comments below.
