Capital One rebranded the Capital One SavorOne card to Capital One Savor in October 2024, this was confusing as there was a legacy Capital One Savor card that earned 4% on dining. To make things even more confusing they have relaunched the SavorOne card again. This time it has the following benefits:
- $39 annual fee
- 3% cash back at grocery stores, on dining, entertainment and popular streaming services
- No sign up bonus
Earning rates on grocery stores and dining are competitive but not as good as the 4% previously offered and annual fee with no sign up bonus makes this card meaningless.

Has to be meant for people with a trashed credit score!!
It is, obviously the people that come here is not the target audience. Which is weird because healthy people usually don't go to the DOCTOR.
C1 sucks!
They have sent P2 and I hundreds of emails for pre-approved platinum card with no SUB, but cannot approve us for Venture card.
Platinum Mastercard is their low tier card
Venture card is mid to high tier
They are not the same
Keep chasing those sub prime customers! A sprinkle of deceptive marketing to lure the lambs to the slaughter.
It's C1's dirty little (not so) secret. They want their sub-prime customers to default on these low credit limit cards. Doing so allows them to milk them for huge returns via lawsuits, judgments and garnishment. C1 makes a fortune by turning a $500 CL into a $1,500 default judgment that earns 8%+ a year until, eventually, the borrower comes into money, wants to buy a home, gets a decent job. Then it's payday for C1.
WTF?!!!
can they at least change the color? lmao
Who is paying $39 for this?
Someone with Fair credit.
C1 cards like this are going to come with a low CL.
Amex blue no fee card 3% on grocery, gas
Savor used to be worthwhile when it covered Uber One and provided 10% cash back on Uber and Uber Eats. Without that it's essentially just a card with 3% on some categories (or 4% for a few with the older card), which might not be bad for some, depending on what other cards they have and use.
How fondly I remember the $500 bonus for the original Savor...
With most establishments (at least by me anyways) adding 3% and more on top of food costs to cover their CC costs, Savor (or Savor one) is not worth having anymore IMHO.
do they give you a discount for not paying with card?
I've seen a few do that, while some others do it in the form of some "health" or "business" fee. Technically speaking a CC fee isn't something that's allowed.
