Update 8/8/25: eBay is back
Update 5/28/25: They removed most of the useful/valuable options like eBay, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc. For a lot of people it could be worth just moving on from Capital One Shopping.
Note: the selection varies by user and seems to come and go. Some people might still have redemption options for Home Depot or Ebay, for example.
For those open to selling gift cards: there are still options which can be resold for 75%+, so maybe worth sticking around for the better deals.
Update 5/4/25: eBay, Home Depot, Albertson’s, Grubhub redemption options are gone for some. YMMV on each one of these.
Update 3/10/25: Kroger, UberEATS, Doordash removed now (Walmart is still gone)

Original post: Ouch! Capital One Shopping portal removed the following gift card redemption options: Walmart, Safeway, Bed Bath & Beyond, Petco. They’ve added a few new brands, such as CVS, SiriusXM, and few others.
The portal does not allow directly cashing out rewards; we need to purchase a gift card. Walmart and Safeway were probably the most commonly used cash out options. They do have many more top brand redemption options (direct link), such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, eBay, Kohl’s, Nike, etc.
Personally, I’ve always cashed out via Walmart gift cards. I’m not sure how much I’ll be using the portal going forward given that I don’t really shop at any of those other brands consistently.
If you have a Capital One credit card, it’s a good idea to check if the Capital One Offers within your bank login have the same offer since those rewards get cashed out as a statement credit.
