Our Verdict
The prior offer was $750/$7,500 and it’s now increased to $1,500/$15k. The Plus version also has a nice signup bonus currently of $2,000 with $30,000 spend. Most people will prefer this $1,500/$15k bonus on the regular non-Plus Spark card.
However, note, the Plus version does not get reported to the credit bureas whereas the non-Plus Spark card does get reported, last I know. Personally I’d be interested in this one, but the card will push me over 5/24 due to reporting, and so I’ll probably give this one a miss.
Capital One pulls all 3 bureaus on applications. Check out these Things To Know about Capital One Credit Cards. We’ll add this to our list of Best Current Credit Card Signup Bonuses.

Can you have both Spark Cash and the Plus card?
I am getting mixed information. Will this be reported to the credit bureaus or not ? I just applied for the CSP last month and I do not want to apply for another card at least for another month to allow my credit scores to get a Chance to recover
I believe you’re still getting the hard pulls regardless when you apply (all 3 if I recall for Cap 1).
The non reporting to credit reports benefit is more for the 5/24 or high balances.
this card is reported…
I just applied for this card and got approved a week and a half ago.. What are the chances I can get matched to the new, higher SUB?
Zero. They don’t match.
No pre-approval for this card, worth to try anyway or pretty much it’s a no-go?
You can still try.. but the chance is small
Does bank account funding count towards minimum spend on this card? Thanks!
Applied and was approved today, 6/10 for the Cash Plus card (not the non-plus). Immediate ping from Capital One’s Creditwise about a new Transunion inquiry.
Chuck FYI
Yep, they pull the credit bureaus for business card applications. They should not report the Plus card to personal credit bureaus, though. The non-Plus does get reported to personal credit bureaus.
What do they do with Discover though?
Is this a Visa or Mastercard currently?
mastercard
Thanks! Any idea if they count bank account funding towards minimum spend? Thanks!
never had a business card with C1, but have Venture X and checking account with them. What are the chances of being approved?
good credit score? and no recent credit cards? then high chances. you can check pre-approval for it…
Any insights into credit lines? And relationship, if any, to business income, total income, etc.? P1 and P2 experience with Cap1 biz cards has been $5,000 and $6,000 the last two times
I just got this card last month (which I am now very angry about) and they gave a CL of $5000 and I believe I said the business income was $15000/year with total income of $130k/year. It made it so so so annoying to hit that $7500 and if they pulled the same shit to try to hit $15k I would be very annoyed. I may try for it… It was P2 that got approved and the pre approval told me no but for that much money I might take a chance…
