Capital One has announced that as of January 13, 2026 12AM ET it will be reducing the transfer rate to Emirates from 1,000:1,000 to 1,000:750. This is not a huge surprise as other flexible point partners have made the following changes:
- Chase To End Access To Emirates Transfers On 10/16/25
- American Express Reducing Transfer Rate To Emirates To 5:4 (Currently 1:1)
- BILT Losing Access To Emirates Transfers On 5/27 Until 6/19
- [Reversed] Capital One: 25% Transfer Bonus To Emirates (1:1.25)
- Chase & American Express Losing Access To Emirates Transfers On 5/29 Until 6/30
- Citi Reducing Transfer Rate To Emirates To 1:0.8 (Currently 1:1)
It’s nice they have given some time before the devaluation so if you do need to make a transfer you can until then.
