Chase has added new Instacart benefits to more cards. The new benefits started yesterday and are valid through December 31, 2027. Previously you had been able to get free Instacart+ and $15 monthly credits on some cards.
There are basically several tiers:
- Three months of Instacart+ and $10 monthly credit:
- Chase Aer Lingus
- Chase Aeroplan
- Chase British Airways
- Chase Iberia
- Chase IHG One Rewards Premier
- Chase IHG One Rewards Premier Business
- Chase IHG One Rewards Traveler
- Chase Marriott Bonvoy Bold
- Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless
- Chase Marriott Bonvoy Buntiful
- Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Performance Business
- Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus
- Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier
- Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Premier Business
- Chase Southwest Rapid Rewards Priority
- Chase World of Hyatt
- Chase World of Hyatt Business
- Three months of Instacart+ and $20 monthly credit (you don’t need to create a ‘business profile’ to use this):
- Chase Ink Business Cash
- Chase Ink Business Unlimited
United cards had similar benefits added earlier this year. If you have two of the same card you can’t get the benefits twice, but if you have two different cards in the same tier it should stack (e.g Chase Ink Business & Business Unlimited) for two $20 monthly credits. To activate the benefit use the links above.
Also note, you can use the Chase credit even when paying with your Instacart balance, as long as you select the correct card as the payment source (it still applies the Instacart balance and uses the card as backup; should be reflected on checkout screen).
my $20 Ink Unlimited and Cash credits have been working fine for a few months, but today I don’t see them loaded in both mine and P2’s accounts. Has anyone else experienced this, and how did you resolve it?
Many thanks!
Sometimes they’re not available right away. Last month mine became available on the afternoon of the first of the month.
I just signed up and was showing no pick up fees for Sprouts and Safeway orders over $10. Went to place my order today and it’s a 3.99 pickup fee for anything under $35. My daughter signed up her INK cards and she showed free pickup also and placed two orders (2 x $20 credits) and got free pickup. And it’s still showing free pickup for any other orders over $10. Anyone know how/why this is happening?
In my sisters family 1 of the 3 got the free pickup also for orders over $10. I need that for my $10 credits.
Does anyone know what happens if you make an Instacart order and it gets cancelled (e.g. item out of stock) – do you get the $10/$20 credit back?
I believe with the $10 DoorDash credit my experience was that the credit was forfeited. Wondering how it works with the $10/$20 Instacart credit.
Answering my own question: yes, the $20 credit comes back when order is cancelled
Good to know for future. Thanks.
Another insane deal. A little painful though. Added ink unlimited for $20 off every month. Added Disney for another $10 off. Tried an old ink cash, another $20 added. I already had annual IC+, these 3 added few extra months to expirations.
Total of $50 every month for next 18 months across 3 no fee cards.
For those complaining about IC high prices, please remember..
Stacking all 4 above is unbeatable. Again.. its a bit of work, but totally worth.
Agreed. It’s a bit of work, but $50 every month on no fee cards is a great deal, even with the Instacart fees.
Rakuten wont track instacart orders when using the ink discounts. Keeps saying intelligible and rakuten support argues there’s a discount (just the ink credit) which voids the offer.
Has anyone else with a 2+ person household with Chase cards/credits noticed that the fees are different for different users? My P2 has a $1.49 fee for orders. I had a $2.49 fee for orders but that has recently become $3.49. I’m getting irked that these credits are becoming less and less useful all the time. Would love to know if others are having this issue.
Isn’t chase ink $20 monthly credit too good to be true? I have been getting each month for last 3 months and now IC+ is about to end. I’m thinking to subscribe at annual price. It’s $99 annual. But with $20 a month, you’re getting back $240. Seems like easy win. Am I missing something? Or any potential further stack to make it even better?
One option is to open another Chase card, different than the one you have, that’s eligible to extend the membership longer.
If you use Instacart normally, the credits can make it worth it. Personally, I don’t use the service other than these credits and still have to pay the service fee for less than $35 even if pickup. That may be location dependent, I’ve seen some DPs that have $10 minimum options.
Even with $35 min and some markups, I think a constant $11.xx discount on $35 once a month is very much worth it. Not to mention occasional other discounts that IC may offer, plus free peacock sub. With $20 monthly credit, seems like a no brainer IMO!
Glad it works for you. You can check to see if you get a discount on the annual fee. I thought I saw Costco members get $20 off and there are DPs of some getting an offer from Instacart for $19.
The published article has these cards with credits:
Is it only limit one that can be added to an instacart account? Or is there no limit as long as it’s not the same exact card? I also have Southwest card in my instacart account, but I didn’t add any of my Aeroplan or Ritz cards.
This article answered my question: https://travel-on-points.com/chase-instacart-benefits/
You can stack the co-branded cards, as long as it’s not the same exact card.
I have 6 cards in my Instacart consumer account and all credits show up, and my Instacart+ ends on November 2026:
-Ink Unlimited
-Ink Cash
-Southwest
-Aeroplan
-Ritz Carlton
-United Explorer
Guys – have 4 instacart accounts and put it all on the same delivery name but the cards are on different names. Last month the credits were taken out so I changed name on the instacart account. Now the credits show under Credits, Promos but when checking out it won’t apply it automatically and doesn’t show $0 and there is nothing to click on. Any idea how to fix? Thanks
Not sure it helps but have to make sure the card with the promo is the default card when checking out. I have kept my two Instacart accounts completely separate to avoid conflict so I don’t know if that’s what’s messing it up.
+1 going thru that exact same scenario. I initially added my two CBI cards.(I also have a Sapphire Preferred(figured it’s just good for DD) as well but did not try it. My father has a United Explorer, worth $10– which he does not mind(I order him stuff all the time anyway) As tryi to cash out, I get stonewalled(same as Jorah), as I have zero luck getting any of the 4 listed shopping promotions to appear. There’s just ‘no promo code to input. As in, no code is avail, and even if there were a code, they greyed it out. It’s only $10 and not worth the headache—, I would cut the cord w/o hesitating(starting after this hesitation). So, Wonder if anyone sees a(potential or otherwise) issue with me steaming forward with the cancelation of one of the cards(coming from any IC+ technical PointsOV)
Does the credit works for restaurant pickup?
Instacart shows restaurants now, which I don’t remember seeing last year.
No, for restaurants Instacart uses Uber Eats, and the Chase Instacart credits don’t apply to that.
