The Fine Print
- Earns at the following rates:
- Earn 5X points per $1 on the first $50,000 spent annually at office supply stores and on cellular phone, landline, internet and cable TV services (first $25,000 for the cash card)
- Earn 2X points per $1 on the first $50,000 spent annually at gas stations and for hotel accommodations when purchased directly with the hotel (first $25,00 for the cash card)
- Earn 1x points on all other purchases
- Offer possibly expires May 24th
40,000 Bonus Coming?
I saw something interesting as well (as did Miles to Memories), if you look at the public offer on the Chase Ink the bonus is down to 40,000 points. This looks like it might be the standard bonus going forward, so 60,000 points without an annual fee is an even better deal in that light.
Our Verdict
I’m going to pick up this card, 60,000 points with no annual fee is best in show and I’m due for a new Ink card. If you’ve applied for this bonus recently, you should be able to get matched to the higher bonus. The problem is Chase cannot match you to the 60,000 point bonus with the annual fee (as they can’t increase the annual fee in the first year) so it’s important to tell Chase you’re aware of the in branch offer if you want to get matched.
