Chase has added lifetime to the INK Business Preferred card now as well:
The new cardmember bonus may not be available to you if you have ever had this card. We may also consider factors pertinent to your business in determining your bonus eligibility.
- Previously we learned of the lifetime language on the INK Business no-fee Cash and Unlimited cards which are limited to earning once-per-lifetime on all no-fee cards.
- And Chase is giving you a popup notice when ineligible.
- Now they’ve added the language on the INK Preferred $95 fee card.
- And they give you a popup notice when you are ineligible for the INK Preferred card as well.
Note, there is no cross-over between the INK Preferred card and the INK Cash/Unlimited cards: if you’ve gotten the INK Preferred you can still get either the INK Cash or INK Unlimited. If you’ve gotten the INK Cash/Unlimited you can still get the INK Preferred.
More importantly, reports indicate that the new language is not always enforced. Since Chase has been giving a popup notification when you are not eligible, I’d recommend simply applying for whichever card you’d like and see if Chase gives any signup bonus ineligibility notice.
Related: Chase INK Preferred just increased their signup bonus temporarily from 90k to 100k.
