 William Charles,

This offer is back on most of my Chase cards. This time it expires on 4.30.25.

Yep, same. Built enough the first quarter with groceries. But will probably use the offer on Prime this time around for the 15% total.

My Amazon Fresh used to carry Amazon gift cards but just stopped. When I asked where they were the employee told me the new manager ripped them all up. No more 10%😞

Claire,

It’s possible that the employee didn’t communicate well to you the reason that the manager “ripped them all up”. See my comment here for the possible reason: #2028106 .

Thanks for this. I will try again sometime because I stock up on the 10% off for Amazon gift cards. The store is pretty bad, I don’t enjoy shopping there.

It’s been in the news that Amazon Fresh is looking to reorient itself to a more grab-and-go type of store.

So it’s not clear how and if gift cards could fit into that.

@William Charles,

I suggest you consider taking BofA out of the title.

BofA doesn’t seem to have anywhere near the same coupons as Chase recently.

Maybe they did once, but if so, BofA seems to have changed how they get their coupons to apparently be independent of how Chase gets theirs.

I just checked BofA and it doesn’t have any type of Amazon or Whole Foods coupons or anything related to those.

And this is the second recent time I’ve checked BofA when DoC claimed to have BofA/Chase offers, and the previous time also those offers were only at Chase, not BofA.

Meanwhile:

I just checked all 7 of my Chase personal account cards, and all of them had only Amazon Fresh, not Whole Foods, except one Chase card (a no-AF Marriott card) didn’t have either.

That could be because I have an Amazon Prime card in my account (which btw also gave me the Amazon Fresh offer), and use it at least once a week for Whole Foods purchases.

People who don’t get the Whole Foods offer should report (a) whether they have the Amazon Prime card or not, and (b) whether they use any other Chase card already for Whole Foods purchases.

And while there are a bunch of Whole Foods locations near me, all the Amazon Fresh locations are too far away to make it worthwhile to drive to them for groceries.

Several cards also had coupons for a local Southern California chain, Bristol Farms, which is associated with Amazon, but that coupon is an older one which is expiring very soon, expiring as soon as today as stated on at least one card.

One annoying thing about Chase offers is that you can’t see the terms of the offer without adding them. That’s why I don’t know when the other Bristol Farms coupons are expiring exactly (it just says “soon”), because I don’t want to add them just to see the terms, in case that makes them not give me that coupon again later.

For anyone that didn’t view my linked comment, the offer is valid until 3.31.25.

 William Charles,

The offer that I wrote about in the linked comment is not valid on Amazon.com or at WFM. It’s only available in-store at Amazon Fresh. Can you update the title of the post?

Also, the offer was available for me for WF and USB also.

William Charles Might want to remove this line:

  • Earn 25% back on your Whole Foods on Amazon.com

 William Charles

The problem that Celia reported above is with how this page is structured.

That 25% back on Whole Foods was apparently part of the original offer for which this page was created, but the only clue about when the page might have been created is the post history.

The only comment on the history page which mentions a Whole Foods offer is from June 2020, around the start of the pandemic, when a lot of stores were having problems with unusually low traffic. So that’s probably why that offer came out then, and isn’t needed now, when traffic at grocery stores has returned to pre-pandemic levels.

So the alternative to removing the line up above which mentions the 25% Whole Foods discount would be to clarify that the 25% Whole Foods discount doesn’t necessarily apply to updated offers.

I basically said the same thing that you did in this comment but in a much more concise way: #2028224 .

Stefan
Stefan (@guest_2034670)
March 30, 2025 12:43

But it was so concise that  William Charles replied to you above, saying that your concise explanation didn’t warrant a change because he said that others are getting another variation of the offer.

My detailed post didn’t focus on who’s getting what offers, but just on confusion in the way the post is structured.

That’s why I said to not necessarily remove it completely, but just to say that the Whole Foods offer isn’t necessarily valid now. That rewording would work even if some people get the offer, while your “concise” rewording wouldn’t.

The only gift cards I found at a nearby Amazon Fresh store were (surprise!) Amazon.

Nothing else.

My Amazon Fresh doesn’t even have gift cards, or if they do, I haven’t found them yet. Even Amazon gift cards would be nice.

Shortly after they opened around here, I asked a CSR if they sold gift cards, and I was told they don’t. That was a couple of years ago. Since their prices are so high, I seldom go in, but I suppose next time I do, I’ll ask again.

I would try again if I was you as it’s been almost 2 years since you made this comment. The man that I spoke to today implied that most, if not all locations now carry Amazon GCs.

Mines don’t have any gift cards. I would take Amazon if they had them. My offer is routinely 10% back at Amazon Fresh in-store only.

For those who have used Chase Offers or BofAs 5% back offer at Whole Foods/Amazon Fresh on Amazon.com, how has this promotion benefited you in terms of savings? Are there any limitations or restrictions to be aware of when using this offer?
