[Targeted] Chase Sapphire Cards: Redeem Points On Premium Travel For 2.25 Cents Per Point

Update 6/12/25: This offer is showing again for select Travel redemption

The Offer

Check your Chase Travel for the following targeted offers:

  • Sapphire Reserve cardholders can get 2.25 cents per point when booking eligible flights through Chase Travel from 3/31/25 – 6/15/25 for travel completed by 12/31/25. Valid on premium economy, business, and first class flights by United, Delta, and Qatar Airways.
  • Sapphire Preferred cardholders have the same offer for 1.5 cents or 1.75 cents or 2 cents per point.
  • Some are seeing 2 cents per point redemption on some hotel bookings.

Our Verdict

I’m not sure if these offers are for all Sapphire Reserve & Preferred cardholders or targeted. You can check by starting a booking and seeing what redemption value the system shows you.

For those of you that got the offer. How did it show up? Was it in the app or browser? Were you in the travel portal? Did you get an email?

It’s obvious when you search anything. It tells you there’s points offers.

I still think best value is transferring points to airline partners and booking a saver seat there, instead of redeeming through their chase portal.

Ex I got RT BIZ Class US to Europe for 160K points. Cash Prize is 15K. No one can beat that.
Correct me if i am wrong.

You aren’t wrong but you aren’t considering how much it limits your options when you transfer points. Way more flexibility and hotel/flight options if you are willing to take a lower cpp through a travel portal. That’s worth something.

Some people might have a focus on cashback as opposed to business/1st class travel in which case this might be a better use of points. wonder if there’s clawback on these bookings….

chase knows value perception manipulation. its testing out balance sheet liability sweep offers. just like its transfer bonuses. just do math that makes sense for you and get it cross ref w/ a pro to validate ur assumptions.

So we only have three days to use this offer that has been available since March? Talk about making rushed travel plans. Thanks for posting it though.

Nice. Chase testing this to soften the blow from customers when they inevitably take away the 1.25% (CSP) and 1.5% (CSR) multipliers for all travel redemptions across their travel portal.

It’s definitely targeted. I have the offer on my CSP for 1.5x cents per point but P2 does not. I’ve been using this for the past month and just made a couple of more redemptions for later this summer before it expires.

FWIW I’m seeing a 2 CPP offer with my Sapphire Reserve. The terms otherwise seem to be identical to the screenshot above.

I had the offer earlier today on desktop. 1.75x for CSP flights. It’s now no longer showing.
