Any updates? I’m just under 5/24 and trying to decide if I should wait or get another card.

Explorist is worthless. It comes with what, a bottle of water? No upgrades, no breakfast…

Mixed feelings. Globalist is the one status that has real value, because it’s hard to buy it. If it’s too easy to get there from here, that’s a shame.

Hopefully everyone answered “no” to the questions “would you like lounge benefits” and “credits towards a specific gym chain”. I don’t need another PP card and the nearest Equinox is over 25 miles away…

Please keep it simple Hyatt. I don’t need another coupon book…

I completed this survey. It was rather annoying. They specifically mention the Hilton Aspire card, but they don’t seem to realize how that card is more appealing.

I’ll stick with Hilton for Diamond status 💎

This would be more appealing if they hadn’t just lost their MGM partnership.

My miles and points addiction will not allow me to stop applying for cards, so I can never get back under 5/24. There are credit cards for people that have no credit, and bad credit. So why can’t Chase come up with a card for those of us that are terminally way over 5/24?

tl;dr Why won’t Chase let me lose them more money?

lol…

“Chase has sent out a survey regarding a possible new Hyatt card that would come with a $250-$450 annual fee.”

I don’t necessarily see this as a loss for Chase if I’m willing to pay the big bucks. Chase buys the points discounted.

Not holding my breath. We begged for a biz card and it was DOA

Almost don’t want them to go forward with the card lol

But if it’s $250 and you get Explorist status, it’s not the worst thing in the world. Glad they’re floating a FNC on this one as well.

Hopefully not, too many people with Explorist status will make it worthless and will force Hyatt to come up with a new tier. I like the current option of not letting people buy explorist status.
