The Offer

- Citi Sears card sent out an offer for a statement credit on up to $2,000 purchases on Groceries, Gas, or Restaurants during April, May, and June.
- Some got a 20% offer. Limit $160 statement credit per month.
- Some got a 15% offer. Limit $75 statement credit per month.
- Some got a 10% offer. Limit $250 statement credit per month.
- Some got a 5% offer. Limit $250 statement credit per month.
There are numerous other variations, and some which offer points instead of statement credit.
The Fine Print
- Requires activation first.
- Grocery stores are stand-alone merchants that primarily sell a complete line of food merchandise for home consumption. Grocery or food purchases made at convenience stores, gas stations, warehouse clubs, supercenters and discounts stores are not eligible. Gas stations are merchants that primarily sell vehicle fuel for consumer use. Restaurant purchases are those made at merchants classified as full service restaurants, cafes, cafeterias and fast food locations. Merchants must submit charges under the appropriate merchant code or industry code for you to receive the statement credit.
Our Verdict
Readers Donald and KD sent in the 5% and 10% offers, and Milestomemories reports getting the 15% offer. We added the 20% offer based on the comments here. Sounds like some sort of offer was sent out to all Citi Sears cardholders, hopefully you got one of the better versions.
