The Fine Print

• Bonus ThankYou points are not available if you have had ThankYou Preferred, ThankYou Premier or Citi Prestige card opened or closed in the past 24 months.
• No annual fee
• 0% Introductory APR for 12 months on balance transfers and purchases
• Card earns at the following rates:
  • 2x points on dining out and entertainment
  • 1x points on all other purchases
• Citi price protection

Our Verdict

There are two reasons I don’t think you should apply for this offer:

1. This would exclude you from getting a Citi Prestige or Citi ThankYou Premier bonuses in the next 24 months
2. You can get 10,000 points + $100 statement credit if you make a live nation ticket purchase (of at least $100)

Bonus has been as high as 20,000 points in the past as well (at least recently, 2014 and before it was up to 40,000-60,000 points). This means all the Citi branded cards come with sign up bonuses now:

• Citi Prestige Offering 50,000 Points Again
