A little while ago we linked a deal in a recap post where you could get 500 Club Carlson points if you enrolled in Club Carlson for Travel Arrangers. I didn’t think it would work since the bonus wasn’t mentioned on the page, but a lot of you tried anyway. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like anybody is going to get their points. Reader Toby P, sent me this e-mail he received (and other readers report receiving the same e-mail):

We are unable to process your Club Carlson for Travel Arrangers application for enrollment at this time. This new program is for eligible executive assistants and administrative staff who book hotel stays for their organization’s business travelers. The invitation to apply for the program was a private offer distributed to a select audience and is not available to the general public.

Like I said, I didn’t go for this promotion since I thought it was unlikely I’d get the points. But this is a bit annoying for those that did, oh well onto the next deal!
