This reminded me I bought it 2 years back and have not got a chance to fly Alaska. I wish for an easy way to resell these gift cards and not lose like 20-30%

Consumerism final boss. Buying something with no plans of using it simply because of a discount lol

In stock in Burbank, CA. They didn’t set up the display yet, but I was able to give the item number to the cashier and pick up the gift cards at Merchandise Pickup.

Item 1888636 is not showing up for me in the Seattle or Portland area from the app search. Looks like it’s in California warehouses.

ChickenLittle’s guide on how to use credit card with E credit or wallet funds.

Find a trip. Let’s say the trip is $300. And your wallet fund or ecredit is $500.Find a trip that is $200+ and book that using your wallet fund or ecredit. Try to find a main fare trip.Use your wallet fund or ecredit to book the $300 trip + charge the remaining amount on your credit card for free baggage or travel insurance.Cancel your $200+ trip. Cancel within 24 hours for refund. Or Cancel after 24 hours for new ecredit. You should wait at least a few hours in between to cancel the flight.

If you canceled the $200+ trip that you paid for using an ecredit within the first 24 hours, wouldn’t it just refund you your ecredit back?

Yes, but converting ecredit isn’t why ChickenLittle does it. Their objective is to not pay for a flight with voucher funds only and instead have a few dollars billed to the Alaska credit card – this way you get Alaska credit card travel insurance + free bag while still taking advantage of the voucher discount.

No. Alaska flights and services are through the Alaska Air website. Alaska Air points purchases are routed to points.com.

You can use the Costco app to see if your local Costco warehouse has them in stock, follow the steps in this post: https://travelwithgrant.boardingarea.com/2024/11/17/costco-in-store-10-off-alaska-airlines-gift-cards-500-449/
