Our Verdict
Should be possible to use this opportunity to buy Best Buy, Home Depot, and dozens of other gift cards and get a $10 shopping credit for Shoprite. Use a credit card that earns a high reward at the grocery store.

Any DPs on whether the Amex payout is immediate? Bought GCs two weeks ago in-store and still waiting. No “you just used your offer!” email either.
Per the Amex terms it’s within 90 days of the end date but I’ve never had an Amex offer not post almost immediately.

Right. This stacks perfectly with the $50 gift card requirement. You do have to go back the next week (starting on Sunday) to spend the $10 grocery credit.
I noticed that there were no Shell gc at my local store. I’m wondering if they were just OOS or if SR stopped selling them as there were many other gas gc in-store. Do any of you know?
SRite’s in upstate NY/CT still have lots of Shell GC. They also have Mobil/Exxon and Gulf. I found a Mobil station In Putnam Co. which is cheaper than anybody else. Was 3.09 up till last week, now 3.16 cash/Mobil gift card. Very busy due to the price around here. Shell down the road is 3.49 and Gulf in the next town is 3.39. In Danbury CT its higher. BJ in Brookfield Ct is 3.44. Go figure. I guess the NY prices will skyrocket next week.

This deal is back for this week. However, I ran into a snag.
I purchased a $50 gc this morning and the $10 coupon did not print out. I went to CS and they said that this has happened to others as well today.
Therefore, you should make a note that everyone should make sure that the coupon printed out before leaving the store. That might seem obvious but I’m sure that there are some people that otherwise wouldn’t look until later.
how did they solve the coupon issue ?
The woman wrote the code on the receipt and told me to show it to the cashier next week. I hope that I don’t run into an issue. I did get the woman’s name just in case.

Chase FREEDOM 5% category currently is Grocery, so use that if you have it. I love these deals that LIDL and ShopRight do, it’s like free money. I would use the GC’s anyway for gifts or my own purchases, so it’s not like I’m spending money just to get the credit. Keep them coming guys! BTW starts on the 14th for LI, NY area.
Let’s hope they fixed the issue with Wawa giftcards not issuing the $10.
It’s not only Wawa, it’s a lot of them. I bought Netflix, P2 bout Apple, another guy on line bought Shell and they all didn’t print out the coupon. We were all at the customer services desk and the were doing it manually, providing us with a code to use for the $10 off next week.
make sure you ask for the Full receipt, the short receipt doesn’t print coupon at the end of the receipt
It was the full receipt (including separate smaller gift receipt for the GC). It appears to be a known issue in the store that I went to (North NJ) because she knew exactly what to do. She made copies of our receipt for bookkeeping and gave us all unique codes that she generated with the comp with our price shop card numbers.
Could have been a local store issue or an issue present just in the hour you were buying.
My DP: I got $50 Home Depot fixed as well as $50 Ikea variable yesterday and the day before on 2 separate Price Plus accounts and both generated coupon.
