  • Delta has a new flash sale, this time Hawaii round trip from 31,000 miles.
    • BOOK by 11:59 pm ET Thursday, March 14
    • TRAVEL March 15 – May 22, 2019

Our Verdict

Sale fares are usually available for dates slightly outside the travel periods listed above. Probably not as good as the recent Southwest Hawaii launch deals but still might be useful for some readers.

This is just laughable. ATL-HNL for 74k round trip in economy is a flash sale? I just helped a family member book CLT-DTW-HNL round trip in Delta business for 69k Flying Blue miles.

Hi, I would like to fly out of Atlanta, what dates did you select to the 68K ? Thanks in advance.

Surprised to see Atlanta on there. The Delta site doesn’t have the lowest. They say 74k for Main Cabin, but I moved dates around and saw 68k for non-stop. Not bad!

I mean why would you continue booking legacy carriers with cramped seats and checked bag fees when you can fly southwest

Unless you don’t want to be on a SW 737 MAX 8 until they finish the investigations I suppose.

Southwest is flying the 737-800 to hawaii, not the max 8

If you want direct flights delta offers far more from more cities. Better in-flight options and food too. Tough to beat SW on value, but I would fly most other major airlines over SW for overall flight quality.

Southwest wins hands down in terms of flight quality, especially over Delta’s fleet which is mostly 31″ or 30″ pitch. Almost all WN comes in at 32″ seat pitch.
