DoorDash DashPass Family Sharing (Not Available On Free Memberships)

DoorDash announced a new Family Sharing feature on DashPass membership. This feature is only on paid DashPass accounts, per the terms:

DashPass members on partnership DashPass plans, DashPass Student Plan and corporate DashPass plans are not eligible to be Account Sharers.

The person you share it within must live in the same country, per the terms, which implies they don’t have to live in the same house. And so they seem to be fine within sharing the membership with a sibling or parent or child, etc, even those who don’t live together.

The person you share membership with will have an entirely separate account. There’s no information sharing involved, it’s just getting a family member DashPass.

A lot of us will have DashPass for free from having a Chase card or from T-Mobile. This new feature can make DashPass more affordable for someone who pays for it, e.g. you can split the $96 annual fee with a family member.

I’ve always just logged into my wife’s account, who cares if you’re using an immediate family member’s doordash lol

When you add P2, even if they add chase card, they won’t get the benefits like $10 quarterly credits etc. Anyone with different experience?
