DoorDash has launched a new program called ‘Going Out’. This allows users to earn credits when they dine in person at select restaurants in select cities. Currently available in: U.S. and Australia, including San Francisco, East Bay, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle, Bellevue, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Denver/Boulder, Phoenix, Auckland, Melbourne, and Sydney
Process is as follows:
- Activate offer
- Link your card in app
- Dine, then pay with your linked card
- Receive DoorDash credits
Things to know:
- Program used to require you to upload receipts and seems to still require that in some cities.
- Limit of 2 per day if you’re still stuck on the receipt upload system, but no limit if it’s card linked.
- DashPass required for card linked program
- Limit of $600 annually
- Credit expires after 6 months
Not sure if this is part of the SevenRooms acquisition or not.
