Awhile ago Microsoft launched their coalition loyalty point program (similar to Plenti points in that you earn loyalty points at a variety of different merchants all under the same loyalty program) called Earn by Microsoft. It’s in a limited beta in the following states: AZ, MA & WA and lets you earn ‘Earn Credits’ at a rate of up to 10% at places like 7-11 and Starbucks.
GiftCardMall Partnership
They have just partnered with GiftCardMall and and now let you earn 5% in ‘Earn Credits’ on selected gift cards (no Visa, American Express or MasterCard unfortunately).
Things To Keep In Mind
There are a couple of things you should keep in mind:
- You’ll earn this 5% in addition to the regular points your credit card will earn
- I’m not sure if this will stack with shopping portals or not (remember with Earn by Microsoft you’re registering your cards). If so this could be pretty good: 5% from this, 2% from a credit card and another 2% from a shopping portal
