Our Verdict

More free points will be added in the coming weeks. You need 400 points for a free rental so the 20 on offer currently isn’t that useful. Last year they gave 145 free points & year before was 395.

Thanks for the reminder doc. I logged in and discovered there were more badges and netted me at additional 145 points. They do add up over time. I have over 4,000 points which does qualify me for several days of free rentals.

May I ask how long will it take for the points to be available? I have not received it yet

How do you triggered the 100 point EMAIL OPT-IN:
Sign up to receive emails with special offers and savings opportunities and earn a one-time bonus of 100 points?

I see the section is Email Specials –
Receive rental car discounts, great rates and other special Enterprise offers?
I subscribed multiple times, but no cigar.

I signed up, but I’m currently renting a vehicle. I wonder if any of those other point categories will apply to my account when I turn the vehicle in tommorow when the payment is posted to my account. Hope so, because it’s a 10 day rental, mini-van which gives more points

Where do you see the survey, car sales, and magazine links? I just got 20 points for signing up, all the options left on the page for me are for actually renting cars e.g. 75 points for neighborhood rental

Same for me. Just 20 for singing up. I don’t plan to rent cars anytime soon anyway …

I have a question.. I’ve been using my Emerald Club login for Enterprise and making reservations this year because I realize it gives a 10% discount. Is there anyway I can link my Emerald Club with Enterprise Plus somehow to get these points?

edit: and are there any points with Emerald Club?

I don’t know much about car rentals.. but I have needed several rentals this year.

You can either credit your rental with Enterprise to Enterprise Plus or Emerald Club, not both. Emerald Club does not have points as such but straight up gives you a free day for every so many rentals depending on status. I personally find the Emerald Club free days easier to use but I have not looked at the opportunity cost of lost Enterprise Plus points in much detail so YMMV.

Does anyone happen to know how many points are earned per dollar spent? Can’t seem to find that info anywhere and can’t check my points history.

You should earn 1 point per dollar based on vehicle costs, not taxes or fees. Elite members get a bonus.

Enterprise and National are the same company. You can earn National Emerald Club credits on Enterprise rentals, which are worth a lot more than Enterprise points – even when the latter are doubled.

I already have a rental scheduled with them for next month. Do I need to cancel and rent again or is enrolling in the promo now enough? The points will be peanuts either way but since I’m already in need of the car might as well get mine.
