Our Verdict

Pretty easy $10, probably won’t make much sense unless shop at family dollar anyway/have a store close by. Make sure you remember to cancel to avoid the $10 monthly fee as well.

With Serve dying (for me anyway) I would need a lot more than $10 to set foot in one of those dumps ever again

Yeah, I honestly couldn’t handle the combination of dangerous neighborhoods and awkward exchanges at the register. I’ve been using Venmo to hit those high min spends and haven’t looked back.

Serve: $5 fee + $1 gas + $1 wear & tear on my car + 40 minutes of my time to MS $500.

Venmo: $15 fee + 15 seconds of my time to MS $500.

Here’s hoping we find something better than both!
