First Tennessee Referral Page

Share Your Referrals

You’re allowed to leave your referral links in the comments below.

  • This post will be open to comments for 48-72 hours, after that I will close the comments and no more referrals will be accepted. This gives enough time for regular readers to share their links rather than non readers spamming their links.
  • You’re allowed to share your link once and only once. If you post your link multiple times then every instance of the link will be removed
  • You’re allowed to share your link and only your link. Please do not say thank you or list reasons why people should use your link. If you add in anything other than your link it will be removed.
  • Make sure you share the full refer live link, no shortened links allowed
  • No twitter retweet or anything else is required. Your comment should literally be your link and nothing else

This allows us to minimize the amount of time we spend on moderating referral links and still gives regular readers an opportunity to earn referral credit.

Pick A Referral

Try to pick a reader that makes regular useful contributions (you can see their comment history by clicking the ‘i’ next to their name. This encourages readers to help each other and also helps prevents users just spamming their links and contributing nothing to our community. By taking a few moments to do this you ensure more high quality comments are posted that could potentially help you in the future.

Referring party must be an existing customer of First Tennessee Bank – Gadget do you still have your account open? i think by now you’ve probably closed it, but let me know, and i’ll use your link.

missjenniferd1 Yes, I still have my account. I am in VA, and they stopped offering a signup bonus in VA, so I am riding the referral choo-choo train. Thank you in advance!

Gadget ok im gonna use your link. probably open it in just a few minutes after i eat, but depending on where you live in va, it may still be available to you, i just posted a link to will on this thread (newest comment) and it says only available to residents of TN, AR, MS, GA, AL, KY and parts of VA (Bristol, Weber City, Gate City).

Yeah, that area is not my area. I’m in SE VA. But as long as they keep ReferLive going for all of VA it’s worth it to me to keep the account. I setup a $1 ACH deposit each month to keep it fee free. Thanks again.

just applied, approved, so hopefully the offer stacks for me — i did the deal i posted in this thread, but i clicked your referral link and completed that part first.

not sure if you can see the status of your referrals, but hopefully you can see me there —

also, i used citi dblcash for the $50 — hopefully that posts as a purchase. i went by what you said that citi always works for you. anyway, if it doesnt, i’ll just pay it off tomorrow or something, $50 cash advance wouldnt be much anyway.

I do see you as a “Registered Referral”, so it worked. I get no other status on individuals. On a separate list I will eventually see reward card sent for processing and a date, but not who triggered it. Back in Jan & Feb several people signed up with my link, but I think a few didn’t take the extra steps to do multiple direct deposits of at least $100 once they got the bank bonus. Just be aware the terms on the RL card is more strict than the bank bonus and you will be good to go.

I recently figured out I can load the RL VGC’s directly to Serve via Serve online login. Then I bill pay the money out of Serve to a CC. Serve ends up leaving a couple bucks left on the VGC, then I pay my car insurance the $2.xx. It’s a little painful to do this, but leaves me with more meat on bills like car insurance that I can pay on a CC, and not have to work to spend the $50 on the VGC.

To be fair, my Citi Dbl Cash is set at $0 CA limit. It’s a beast for bank CC funding. NFCU recently denied me the 2% rewards on $3K of funding at Andigo, but still processed the $3K as a purchase… so not all card issuers are as kind as Citi. I thought about arguing it at NFCU… but my luck they would just tell me I owe CA fees and still not give rewards. NFCU card is now closed, so that won’t happen again.

you are lucky Gadget i was just getting ready to pm you and say that the terms under your referral say your referral

“All referral account openings must be made within 90 days of the referring party’s registration. Accounts opened after this time may result in disqualification”

so hopefully we both get the bonus — also, i just noticed that it says you have to open with $100 and unfortunately i didnt realize that when i did funding. i shouldve used my acct/rtg because for card funding the max is $50 — typical first tennessee b.s. (that’s where i worked for 8 years of hell) so i may have screwed it up for both of us already 🙁

but i am researching the dd dp’s and will do multiple per month of $150 each so as long as your referral is still valid and as long as they dont rip me off for opening with $50 rather than $100 (i will put the additional $50 in right away, since i already am able to log into online banking, i will go ahead and transfer the money in on their end — i dont want to risk linking the new account yet with my external bank),

im irritated that i didnt see the $100 requirement, or maybe i did, but i got sidetracked after getting into the account opening process —

anyway, i will follow the rest of the requirements to the letter, and hopefully your referral still works.

i cant log into my citi account because they’ve deleted my credit card profile when i opened my bank account yesterday — typical citibank. gonna call on the automated to check if it is a purchase or cash advance

$50 is pending as a purchase on the automated. hope it posts that way. it said my cash adv limit is $200 🙁 i will need to correct that before i do this again!

Hi, I have used your link! Thanks!

Please use my referral link. Process is pretty easy. Register on this link after/before applying for the account. But you have to follow specific requirements for the bonus, which are “Within 90 days of receiving your referral invitation, open a new checking account with at least $100, AND complete two direct deposit transactions of at least $100 each within 60 days of account opening. ” This requirement is little different than the original capital bank bonus requirement. So to get Capital bank bonus of $200+referral bonus of $50, you need to just follow the requirements mentioned above.

Thank you!
