William Charles The target coupon is also $5 off $25, just like CVS. Terms say: $5 savings applied to total qualifying minimum purchase of $25 (after other coupons and discounts are applied).

Last year they had a $5 gift card which was much better.

I believe the Walgreens offer has expired now.

For those w/o ins – check your state/county public health dept for flu shot costs. Some do sliding fee, some do all uninsured/underinsured free. Most even at full fee will probably still be a little bit lower than Costco pricing.

Hy-Vee usually does a fuel saver of $.20 a gal/20gal max if memory serves. But free with insurance.

I got an email from Walgreens today mentioning: Get a $5 coupon off your $15 in store purchase the same day that you get your flu shot. Free flu shots at no cost to you with most insurance: These are the offer details of the coupon posted in the email:
$5 off your $15 in-store purchase the same day you receive your flu shot. Offer expires September 16, 2019. Valid in store with coupon and Balance® Rewards card. Not valid in AR, NJ and NY. Limit 1 storewide coupon per transaction. Coupon is for one-time use only.

I couldn’t find this offer mentioned on their website but I did find these 2 other things if interested:
1) From 9/1/19 until 1/31/20, for every immunization administered, Walgreens will donate $0.23 to the United Nations Foundation, up to a maximum donation of $2,600,000.

2) Free flu shots to VA-enrolled veterans:

And lastly, I saw this mentioned online but I do not know if this offer is still valid or not: Sam’s Club Flu Shots costs $30 for quadrivalent. Flu shots at the Sam’s Club Pharmacy is one of the services you can get from Sam’s Club without a membership. And the link brought me to this page:

I’ll just mention that the best time to get the flue shot is probably around early November based on the expected duration of immunity.

If outside the US, ask around. I just got a Tetanus booster at a neighborhood pharmacy in Greece for 5€ (no prescription needed), and I’d imagine that a flu shot would cost about the same.

A number of mid-to-large sized cities host health fairs with free flu shot clinics once or twice during the flu season. This may be especially helpful for those whom $19.99 per shot is still a financial burden. I definitely took advantage of this when I was without health insurance a couple of years ago.
