I went to my local foodlion store this afternoon and purchased $100 apple gc and $25 grocery, but the $20 off doesn’t work. Has to show manager the ad and he manually override to refund $20 to me. Don’t know what the problem is.

Pleasantly surprised that Apple’s still giving decent discounts on their GCs. No more direct dollar-off offers anymore but free food and promo GCs aren’t too bad considering everyone was expecting the worst.

The direct link takes you to the stores circular. I don’t see the offer in the circular so I guess it’s not available at my location?

I do these deals all the time at Food Lion. Good stuff. Just did $25 off $100 Lowe’s GC a few weeks ago.

And a heads up: The T+Cs in the ad say “min $20 grocery purchase required”. You have to buy at least $20 of groceries for the $20 discount for this current deal to work. Otherwise, the discount won’t come off. If you have only $4 of groceries plus $100 gift card then your total will still be $100 with a $4 discount on groceries.

And if you have Food Lion Shop n Earn or other coupons that will drop your grocery purchases down, you won’t get the full $20 unless you have $20 of actual grocery purchases at checkout.
