How about some free opium instead? Now that’s pain relief!

Get the free sample but this is basically just taking half doses (1 pill each) of Tylenol and Advil so there’s no need to buy a separate product.

Why? Both of those have the same end result of killing pain don’t they? What’s the point of this drug?

Advil is an NSAID, Acetaminophen is not an NSAID. One reduces inflammation (NSAID) and the other does not. TBH, we still do not know how Acetaminophen works, we just know it does lol

Good question. The combination of acetaminophen and ibuprofen gives more profound pain relief for moderate to severe pain than either of the drugs individually.

Different mechanisms. Acetaminophen inhibits parts of the nervous system’s transmission of pain (and reduces fever). Ibuprofen reduces swelling, which therefore can’t cause more pain. It’s fairly common for one person to take both.

That said, not sure about putting it in one pill, or how “Combining these two allows you to take a lower maximum daily dose of each medication.” The stated dosage works out to half the max daily dose of acetaminophen plus a quarter the max daily dose of ibuprofen. Maybe someone medically smart can explain it to us. Otherwise, I’d rather just put some Tylenol and some Advil in the same pill bottle and take two white pills with one brown pill.

They reduce pain in different ways. One is an anti-inflammatory and the other is a analgesic
