Our Verdict
1,250 Swagbucks is worth at least $12.50 which amounts to a 25% discount if the purchase is exactly $50. Pretty good deal if you like shopping in Kohl’s stores.
While at Kohl’s, use up your $10 off $30 from your Discover account as well. Buy $60+ of stuff, get $10 off with Discover coupon, and get $12.50 back from Swagbucks.
Theoretically, you can buy a $50 Kohl’s gift card or third-party gift card at a Kohl’s store. There’s a good chance it’ll work since the terms don’t exclude that, but of course they’ll see the item from the picture and the receipt, and it’s possible they’ll decide to deny it.

Incidentally, there’s another Swagbucks offer going on now to get a 7% discount when redeeming your Swagbucks for Kohl’s gift cards instead of cash. A $50 Kohl’s gift card now cost just 4,650 Swagbucks instead of the typical 5,000 amounting to a 7% discount.
This deal isn’t tied to the previous deal in any way, but if you are doing Kohl’s shopping this could give you a bit more discount. (Note, Swagbucks redemption gift cards don’t come instantly. They sometimes come within 24 hours, but may take even longer.) It’s not really such a good deal since you can buy Kohl’s gift cards on the exchanges for a discount of even more than 7%.
