The Offer

  • Giant Eagle is double fuel points for every $50 you spend on all Select gift cards (including Visa gift cards)

The Fine Print

  • Valid 12/20-12/24

Our Verdict

Let’s hope this is for both the Fuelperks+ program and the legacy program. Make sure to use a credit card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases.

Isn’t Manufactured spending at Giant Eagle for just double fuel perks pretty pointless?? There are no 500 dollar visa cards and all the 200 cards have a 7 buck free which is basically 3.5%

Run the math again…

Yes, it’s a $6.95 fee. But if you get double fuelperks, you’re getting 80c off a gallon on a $200 VGC. On a 30 gallon fill-up that’s $24. Even on a conventional fill-up of 12 gallons it’s $10, and that’s not even counting the credit card rewards which are at least $5, more if you have a card that earns high at groceries or gas stations (you can buy the VGC at GetGo as well.)

Can you verify that it is for all retailers? This ad, as well as my local ad, states “SELECT” retailers.

This is wrong. The flyer says only for selected gift cards.

I’m only seeing “specific” retailers on this one – 10 retailers plus the fixed value Visa.

Not all GC’s, only select few noted here: https://giftcards.gianteagle.com/promotionevent/landing/

Does include VGCs.
