Apply For Discover It

There are currently two versions of the card. One version gives you $150 cash back when you spend $750 within three months, the other version gives you a 0% intro APR for 14 months on all purchases and balance transfers (balance transfer fee of 3%). Apart from these differences, the cards are identical. Choosing the best card will depend on your situation, but unless you’re planning on carrying a balance the $150 card will be your best bet due to savings interest rates being so low currently.

It’s important to make sure you apply for the right version of the card, if you apply for the wrong sign up bonus then Discover will not convert it.

I have the new $50 referral links available for the Discover Card. Email me your first name at [edited] and put “DISCOVER REFERRAL” in the title.

Ok, I’ve just confirmed through discover chat that the promotion used to exist but no longer does.

That said, their IT systems have been having quite a bit of problems, lately, so I wonder if it’s a problem with their website.

Hi Will,

You say that there are “currently” two versions of the card, but the post doesn’t appear to be dated at all. The first link redirects to https://www.discovercard.com/cardmembersvcs/acqs/app/display?&pageFileId=listingsite&sc=KCV3&iq_id=a220088FOF517955449 which in fact just redirects to a 404 not found error page. Could you share the date as of which this information is current? I talked to Discover and they couldn’t seem to figure out what I was referring to, other than some targeted offers that are sent around periodically to existing cardholders for cashback.

Thanks
