Purchased $33 gc, got notification from Google Pay that it qualified. It disappeared for a while on my acct and magically reappeared, expiring June 30
How do you add $33 Gift Card on Lyft APP? it only let you do $25 or $50 GC at a time? thanks
The $25 & $50 is for adding Lyft cash to your own acct, if you click gift card, there are options to purchase gc and send via text that you can customize the amount
I activated this offer and then took two short Lyft rides costing $8-9 each. GPay tracked only one of them and not the other.
After you completed the first offer, the offer became deactivated and you had to reactivate before getting cashback for the second.
Lyft offer expires June 30 for me (but also 45 days after you activate it).

App is so buggy. I added the offer and took a ride. Then I checked back in the app and the offer was never added, so needed to re-add again. Guess the offer wasn’t ever added.

Yup just download the app, this is a card-linked rewards program (not like Apple Pay which you use to make the payment)
In the Lyft app on my smartphone, under Payment, there is no Lyft Cash card section, I don’t see “add Cash” or anything like “Add to Lyft Cash”. I see a way to add a Payment Method, but the offered types are only [Credit/debit, Commuter benefit, PayPal, Venmo, Online banking], none of which seem to include GooglePay. And I see a $0.00 balance on a TBD defined Lyft Cash Gift Card, but no detectable way to add balance to it other than buying Lyft GC’s somewhere then loading them on the then-defined Lyft Cash (Gift) Card ? However, I don’t think purchasing Lyft balance in that manner that would qualify for the GP 30% off (max $5×2).
Lyft Cash should show up at the top of your Payments screen (there’s no Cash “card’), along with an option to “Add Cash”. If it doesn’t, Lyft says that Lyft Cash is not available to all users yet.
Also, you don’t need to use Google Pay. You have to link the card on the Google Pay app and use it as you normally would on Lyft.
And yes, purchasing gift cards elsewhere (not on Lyft) wouldn’t work.
I was able to buy two $17 Lyft Gift Cards through Google Pay app on mobile. It shows on the Chase side as pending but as purchase + 15 minutes, no cash back yet, pending or otherwise. I hope this is what will trigger the 2x$5 CB.
