Google has announced big changes to Google Pay in a relaunch. Part of this relaunch will include the ability to apply for a new digital bank account in 2021 (this has been previously discussed here). The main differences between the old and new Google pay seem to be:
- Venmo like features to send money to friends & family
- Offers for completing certain action (e.g paying a friend/splitting a bill)
- Referral program ($10 for each friend you refer, up to three friends)
