The Offer
- Receive a bonus of $10 per month (and $20 sign up bonus) when you open a Rock Checking account and complete the following requirements each qualification cycle:
- Have at least 15 debit card purchases post and clear
- Have one Direct Deposit post and clear (student accounts do not need to do this)
- Receive online eStatements
The Fine Print
- “Qualification Cycle” means a period beginning one day prior to the first of the month and ending one day prior to the last day of the month (ex. July 31-August 30 for August statement)
- All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Our Verdict
I love on going bonuses, the problem with this one is it’s a relatively low on going bonus and the requirements to keep it fee free and receive the bonus are a pain in the butt. There are much better bonuses out there that I’d recommend completing before even thinking about this one. If you do decide to go for it, let us know how it goes in the comments.
