Our Verdict
Just keep in mind the expiry date on that promotional code. Not sure if there are any other restrictions with that (e.g can it be stacked with other promo codes?).
Samsung pay has 20% cashback on groupon. I got 6.99 cb pending out of it but not sure if it will finally be earned.
“$15 Promotional Credit” means you cannot apply ANY other promo code during checkout. It is actually a big loss!
How’s it a loss?
You pay $35 for a $35 Gift Card that’s even money. Plus you get $15 off your next purchase.
The best code you’d find is 20% off which would be $7-10 so even with this you come out ahead at least an extra $5.
This depends on how much you pay for the products… If you just buy a $50 stuff, this promo wins. but if you buy a single product, say a shoe, $100 or even more, you only get $15 off by this promo but generally you get at least $20 off by using general promo codes..
This is not true, I signed up for e-mails from Adidas for the 15% off promo (it takes 24 hours to get code but if you ask a rep via live chat they will send it immediately). This stacked on my full priced shoe of $80, which made it $68, then I used both codes from Groupon (shows up as $35 Gift Card 1 and $15 Gift Card 2), and came out to a total of $22 after tax and free shipping. So basically this saved me $23 after everything. I’d say worth it if you need a pair of shoes right now. The 15% promo does not apply if the shoe is already on sale which was disappointing but expected anyways.
Seems like both Groupon and Living Social are doing it. Is it possible to use two promo codes per transaction? Are they treated as gift cards with expiration date?
