The Offer
- Groupon is offering a one year Costco membership for the regular price of $65/$130 and you’ll get a $40/$60 Costco shop card as a bonus.
- Valid only for new members and those whose previous memberships (Primary and Affiliate) have been expired for at least 18 months or more. Not valid for renewal or upgrade of an existing membership.
The Fine Print
- To qualify, you must purchase this promotion by December 21, 2025.
- Limit 1 Groupon voucher per person. Valid in the US only.

- To purchase this package, you must be 18 years of age or over.
- Digital Costco Shop Cards are not redeemable for cash, except as required by law. Digital Costco Shop Cards are not accepted at the Food Court.
- The Digital Costco Shop Card will be emailed to the email address provided by the Primary Member at time of sign-up within 2 weeks after sign-up to qualifying members.
- Costco is not liable for incentives not received due to entry of an invalid address during sign-up.
- Photo identification required when you visit the warehouse to pick up your membership card.
- Costco accepts all Visa® cards, as well as cash, checks, debit/ATM cards, and Costco Shop Cards.
Our Verdict
This isn’t the best Costco membership deal we’ve seen, but still a solid deal for someone eligible. Stack by going through shopping portal for added cashback on Groupon; currently Shopback is best with 10% back.
(One downside of Groupon payment – I’m unsure if you can get a refund on the overage cost of the $130 Executive membership when the payment was made through Groupon and not directly with Costco.)
