If You Signed Up For The Free Regus Gold Membership, You Won’t Receive It

On May 15th we posted a deal about two years worth of free Regus gold membership, which gives you the following:

  • Unlimited walk in access at over 3,000 locations in 900 cities and 120 different countries (full list here)
  • Free high speed WiFi
  • Free refreshments (tea and coffee)
  • 10% discount on meeting rooms, day offices and videoconferencing
  • Professional administrative support, from packing and shipping to document printing and binding (with preferred rates)

This deal was meant for Australian Diners Club holders, so it’s no surprise that this deal won’t be “honored” for those who don’t fall into this category but still received successful e-mails and tempoary memberships. You should have received the following e-mail if this was the case for you:

I can’t say I’m surprised that they won’t honor this deal when it wasn’t supposed to be made publicly and it specifically said who it was intended for. I definitely won’t be taking advantage of Blue membership and in reality I doubt I would have really used the Gold membership either.

There are two times when it would have come in handy, but they didn’t have any lounges in those locations. It seems all of the locations they do have, it’s trivially easy to get access to good internet for free anyway.

Hat tip to Wallers Wallet on Twitter for first making me aware of this e-mail.
