Our Verdict
Usually it’s $25 off $150 or $25 off $100, so this is probably some sort of mistake.
I placed an order using this code. Received an email today that IKEA has cancelled my order due to unauthorized use of the code.
My two orders were scheduled for delivery on 8/5 and never showed. Now I just received this email:
“Dear Customer,
It has come to our attention that, without IKEA’s permission, an unauthorized third party disseminated via non-IKEA social channels an online promotional code for $25 off. The promotional code was an offer that IKEA had made exclusively to newly approved credit card applicants only for use for their first-time purchase under the specific terms and conditions stated in the offer.
Unfortunately, the order you placed on 8/1/2019 was not eligible for the promotional offer and therefore your order has been cancelled. If your credit card was charged, the payment will be refunded to you using the original method of payment in the next 10-14 days. If you would still like to order the item(s), without the promotional offer, then you will need to place a new order.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.”
I just got the same email
Got my 40 pieces of cutlery for $11.
My credit card was charged the discounted price, however I assume to make up for that they just omitted 20% of the items I ordered. Their contact form is a giant mess and a hassle to fill out too.
I pushed 4 orders through but only 1 is shipped. 3 of them were cancelled it seems but all (4) of them showed up as posted on my credit card bill. May have to chase them to issue refunds unfortunately.
I got an email saying my order was delivered today!
I see my credit card was charged the correct (discounted) amount, as a real posted charge not Pending.

They claim they are out of my items too and cancelled the order. Weird.
I tried to call them but their phone system is “overwhelmed” and it just shuts down.
I emailed them to tell them I still want the items when they come in. We’ll see what happens…I may need to run by my local store if they don’t respond (which is what I expect)
I got transferred after they said that my order had “issues”.. Transferred to a machine that hung up on me.
Can’t even see my order via their tracker
My order got cancelled on the delivery day because “of the issue”. call them back they said the item is not in stock and the coupon was not authorized by IKEA so
,unfortunately, they could not issue a new one. What a joke.
Order was cancelled.I’m not surprised since they didn’t ship it but said the estimated delivery date would be 8/5 and that’s today.
My order shows up in their system and I just have received no updates. Doesn’t show as shipped either. It’s just stuck.
