Introducing Doctor of Credit Big Deals/News

Update 9/7/21: Seems like some people have forgotten that this option exists or never knew about it in the first place.

One common complaint we hear from readers is that they are only interested in big sign up bonuses or news and don’t care about smaller deals like free pizza. I’ve discussed why we post small deals before and we won’t be making any changes to that but we will be making it easier to view only bigger deals and news such as:

  • Nationwide bank bonuses
  • Credit card sign up bonuses
  • Money making deals of $50+

You can now view these: https://www.doctorofcredit.com/tag/big/. If you use RSS feeds then https://www.doctorofcredit.com/tag/big/feed/ should work. I’d be interested to hear from readers that will use this tag/page, should we include things like the Amazon pay with points discounts? They are less than $50 in many cases for example.

Any chance of the Big category link being added to the top menu bar or one of the side bar links? Not the most observant person but I can’t find it anywhere.

The tag should be a combination of big and/or bang for effort, and the Amazon deal is certainly bang for effort imo.

Thanks for the reminder Doc! But of course I love to see all the deals. Keep up the great work!

Thanks so much, doc. This is another great addition. I’m more selective in doing bank bonuses nowadays; but I still enjoy reading the regular newsletter everyday. With a few exceptions, the DoC newsletter is my most enjoyable read every morning. You and your team are just amazing. Many thanks.

What about an easy tag also? Sometimes it’s not the size of the deal for me, but more-so how much effort it requires. $5 on Amazon via link = easy and worth doing. $10 pizza to install an app and jump through hoops, not as easy. Just a suggestion.

To all the crybabies out there.. the big deal is an addition, not a replacement. Stop crying, k?

Me too; however, when I clicked on the URL, I received the scripts for the webpage:

I honestly haven’t taken advantage of a deal/signup bonus/etc in awhile, but I still have a habit of checking DoC as one of the first things when I load up my browser (it’s in my bookmarks toolbar under URL field) as well as multiple times throughout the day. Even if things don’t apply to me, such as only being available in certain areas, I just keep scrolling. Keep up the good work!
