Update 1/1/26: Offer is extended through 3/31/26. Some changes:
- The referred friend needs to maintain the funding for 60 days.
- The referred friend will receive 4% match (for net qualifying deposits of $100K+) or 3% match (for net qualifying deposits of $2K+).
- For the referred friend, the match bonus is paid in 6 yearly installments, from May 15, 2026 to March 31, 2031. So the hold time will be 5 years to receive all payments.
Update 12/2/25: New tiers:
- $100 reward for $2000-$24,999 friend’s net deposit
- $300 reward for $25,000-$49,999
- $1,000 reward for $50,000-$99,999
- $2,000 reward for $100,000-$499,999
- $4,000 reward for $500,000-$1,999,999
- $10,000 reward for $2,000,000+
- There does not appear to be any 60-day holding requirement any long. I’d recommend holding until Jan 8th, 2026 when payout occurs.
The Offer
WeBull is running a massive referrer bonus if the friend signs up and transfers assets to WeBull. There is no special referral bonus for the new member. There is a standard bonus for the new member which is a good deal on its own, but there’s no difference for the new member whether they help a friend by using their referral bonus or whether they signup directly on WeBull.
The bonus is only if the new member transfers in assets (via ACATS transfer), at the following tiers:
- Get $200 in fractional shares → when your friend transfers $2,000–$24,999
- Get $500 in fractional shares → when your friend transfers $25,000–$99,999
- Get $1,000 in fractional shares → when your friend transfers $100,000–$499,999
- Get $3,000 in fractional shares → when your friend transfers $500,000–$999,999
- Get $5,000 in fractional shares → when your friend transfers $1,000,000+
The Fine Print
- Valid 9/12/25 through 11/30/25.
- Limit 10 referrals.
- Referrer must claim their Offer Rewards within 30 days. Offer Rewards will be deposited within 5 days of being claimed.
- Bonus is only when referring a new member who never had or applied for a WeBull account using the same SSN.
- Friend must maintain the transfer funds for 60 days.

Initially I had planned on created a separate referral thread, but I see in the WeBull fine print that “Customers should only contact individuals with whom the referring Eligible Customer has an existing relationship”. It seems they want more direct referrals, and so for now we won’t be doing any referral thread. It makes more sense for people to just ‘gift’ their referral to a friend or coworker or acquaintance, given how large the bonus is.
Our Verdict
Honestly the tiers on this bonus are high enough that it can be interesting on its own for someone in 2-player mode, e.g. someone who refers their spouse. All with a quick, 60-day holding period.
What makes this much more interesting is that the referral link immediately directs to the 2% match bonus for new members. That bonus does not require a referral link, but if you are anyway doing that excellent bonus, you can help out a friend get a bonus of up to $5,000. (Both the 2% bonus for the new user and the referrer bonus of up to $5,000 will be taxable after getting reported on a form 1099-MISC, presumably.)
Since I’m planning on doing the 2% match deal, I signed up for WeBull using a friend’s referral link. Though I’ve had a WeBull account in the past, the system right away ‘targeted’ me for the 2% match deal and I was able to ‘Enroll’ in that promo. It seems to be widely available (though not showing for everyone).
After creating an account, I found two referral links in the app (Menu > Promotion Center): one shows a smaller bonus for referring someone who signs up and deposits $100. The other shows this massive referrer bonus if the new member who signs up and transfers assets. I assume everyone has the same two links – be sure to use the Transfer referrer link since it’s possible each link works differently.
