Final Thoughts
Originally I was just going to create a post for the SeaWorld deal, but figured I might as well create a dedicated post as I know other merchants will be offering good discounts/freebies. Please comment more of these in the comments and I’ll add them to this list. Also don’t forget to take advantage of the Military Lending Act and Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA).
This offer is back again for all the major SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks. Registration expires 5/11/25 & must use the tickets by 7/6/25.

Probably the best summary link to find the available parks:

In addition, each Veteran is eligible to purchase up to six tickets 50% Off Tickets.
• Former service member must provide proof of service in order to participate.
• Must register online by May 11, print tickets and visit by July 6, 2025.”
Last day to register for this unless extended (which I think they have done in past years).
Registration period has been extended at some parks until 5/18 or 5/21/25, depending on which park you click on.

What makes this program unique is that it applied to Veterans. Active Duty (only) offers are more common.
Fogo de Chao is 50% off for vets and active duty and 10% off for up to 3 more.
Ace Hardware giving away free 8″x12″ flags on Saturday https://newsroom.acehardware.com/ace-hardware-honors-fallen-heroes-with-1-million-american-flags/
Oh man, 8×12 is huge. I will try my local Ace- putting up a flagpole next month and that would be awesome. Thanks!
Isn’t that the small ones? 8″ x 12″ (inches) 🙂
Oh, that makes a lot more sense 😛 I was excited there for a minute!

I believe several other parks have same offer going on:

Usually the Waves of Honor program apply to all SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Parks, but I don’t have time to look details right now. You get to pick one park, print the tickets, and go right to the gate.

Reminder: Tomorrow (June 9th) is the last day to register for the free Busch Gardens Veteran tickets, plus up to 3 family members! Normally it’s Active Duty only for the free tickets. See http://www.wavesofhonor.com/. Only takes two minutes of your time to get the tickets if you have an ID ME account.
Applies to the following parks: Limit one complimentary admission to one of the following parks by July 15, 2019: SeaWorld Orlando, SeaWorld San Antonio, SeaWorld San Diego, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, or Busch Gardens Williamsburg. Excludes waterparks, Discovery Cove and Sesame Parks.
A couple blackout dates do apply, but specific dates depend on the park, listed clearly on the ticket. Thanks to
William Charles for putting the word out there!
