Credit Karma question: Anyone out there getting this error when trying to view the Networth page?

“Can’t load the page

Refresh or try again later.”

Two weeks in to using this garbage and I already broke it. Submitted a CK support ticket today.

And no… not on VPN. Tried clearing cache & incognito. Tried different device. Tried Android App and different browsers.

Other functions on Credit Karma work fine. P2’s Networth page works fine.

Support was useless. Made me submit screenshots and then just went over what I already reported I had tried.

“Since you are getting the same error, I share with you some steps you can try that might help clear up technical issues:

  • Try checking for software updates on your device and make sure the app is up-to-date
  • Log out of your Credit Karma account and back into your account again
  • Restart your device
  • Clear the cache/cookies from your browser and try again.
  • Try using a different device or browser.”

My Resolution:
Using the app, I was able to get into my list of accounts under Profile > Accounts.

Navy Federal FCU was causing the issue, and networth page would work once I deleted it. Relinked and then the page still wouldn’t work. Ending up keeping NFCU unlinked for now.

Actually, started doing it again, but seems to be working today… for now.

Can we get this link in the post, or pinned DoC… H/T to Jason for finding it.

Time is ticking away… and this is the most expansive resource on Mint alternatives. I am putting off converting until the last week, but my day is coming. I hate all the alternatives I’ve tried, and I tried a few in the past (Yodlee & Evestnet).

Lots of good discussions on the r/mintuit reddit on replacements too. But that spreadsheet is a great starting point to compare features that are most important to you.

I may be talking to myself at this point but wanted to pass along some info…

I asked my credit union if they offered anything like Mint. They don’t but they provided a list of options to review. I had not heard of some of these, so posting them here.

eMoney, Cash Edge, Quicken WebConnect or Express WebConnect (not Quicken DirectConnect), Mvelopes, and Yodlee

Note: Mvelopes seems to have shut down already.

Re: Rocket Money

I had tried this since it was free due to my mortgage.

I could not determine how to setup bill reminders/notifications. ie for upcoming credit card bills.

I contacted their support. To my surprise, they don’t offer this feature!

This was one of the primary reasons I used mint. I assume there are many others who used this functionality too. I will keep looking for a good option that does this and a few other functions I liked Mint for.

If anyone knows of a service that has this feature, I would appreciate your mentioning. So far, I have been unable to find this clearly documented here or some of the other sites discussing the death of Mint. I am trying Simplifi now but have not finished setup yet.

Monarch came back with product roadmap link a few days later.

It is on the roadmap and listed as In Progress.

Lunch Money does not have it either.

They did provide a link to the feature on their roadmap. However, no indication if it will be done or timeline.

I asked the Mint/CK migration support mailbox the same question. They indicated support and offered this link:

I don’t believe this actually accomplishes what I want on bills. ie mint-like functionality.

Empower (Personal Capital) actually does this!

In a limited test, it appears to work as I would expect on the web site. I don’t see that it will generate emails as Mint did. However, this would likely work for a lot of folks.

I have seen many complaints about problems maintaining links in Empower, however. I had that problem years ago with PC. For that reason, this may not be the best solution for those with this need.

Has anyone explored what Sofi offers relative to mint-like functionality? I think they call it relay. Apparently, it uses plaid.

Best I can tell, this is not a mint replacement.

I was able to link most of my accounts in Empower, however, I couldn’t make Ameriprise, PenFed, and a couple of other credit unions work. Is there a free platform that can link those? I just need to track balance and transactions.

best free alternative I found so far is Empowered… But is has issues tho, I don’t like the fact we can’t sync manually. For example, I received money on an account this morning, and it is not showing on empower yet. Not very useful if you want to track live your assets.

If I accidentally just hit the button to migrate from Mint to Credit Karma.. is there any way to reverse that mistake so I can continue to use Mint for a little while longer?

Credit Karma sucks.. I’m thinking Empower and Fidelity are the two best free ones. I looked into the pay ones but encountered issues with both Quicken and Monarch. I also like it being free like Mint was.
