When the new Bilt 2.0 cards launched, there was a brief period when it was possible for anyone signing up or transitioning to the new card to get a bonus of 5x points everywhere for five days (up to 50,000 points max) if they did the signup via the TPG link.
It wasn’t ever clear to me exactly how the ‘5 days’ were calculated. Now, someone shared this pdf which states that the 5x is from February 7, 2026 (12:00 a.m. ET) through February 12, 2026 (11:59 p.m. PT). So it’s actually six days.
This makes sense since Bilt 2.0 goes live on February 7th. Basically you get the first 5 days from when the card goes live. I assume this is the case for everyone. Feel free to verify on your own card with Bilt customer service.
5x Bonus Attachment Issues
In separate news, some people were able to verify with Bilt that the 5x offer is attached properly to their cards. Yet many are complaining that Bilt reps saying the 5x offer is not attached to their card.
According to what was heard from Bilt customer service: “The Points Guy promotion for Bilt Card 2.0 applications ended on January 15 at 12:00pm ET.”
Some speculation is that only those who got approved instantly got the 5x promotion to track, not those who needed manual approval.
Hopefully this all gets sorted out before February 7th so that everyone can get their promised bonus.
